The school tax levy approved by the Lodi BOE this
month was $38,556,561. This is lower
than the BOE tax levy in 2013 (when Lodi was overtaxed for the unnecessary
administration building).
School spending has gone up a lot in the last few
years but the school tax levy has not.
Lodi has been receiving millions more in state aid and the Lodi BOE now
has five members that provide oversight (checks and balance).
Lodi PRIDE wrote on a recent campaign mailer that the
BOE “is the reason why taxes have gone up the last two years”.
You can see for yourself with the figures above that
the Lodi mayor and council are liars and frauds. They are the reason why Lodi taxes have gone
up.
