OFAC Report about Englewood was made available through an OPRA request…

The following appeared today on northjersey.com:

“The state's report, which was obtained through a public records request, was issued July 27 after an investigation by the state Department of Education’s Office of Fiscal Accountability and Compliance. The investigation began after Robert Kravitz, the district superintendent, reported improprieties in Englewood’s recording of high school students transcripts.”

“The state report demands the school board publicly discuss the findings within 30 days of the report’s issuance. It also mandates Englewood create a corrective action plan to remedy the complaints. The board may vote on that plan at its Sept. 14 meeting, Kravitz said.”
