The decision by Elissa Mizzone Testa
and Phil Murphy's administration further reinforces that New Jersey is the corruption state controlled by the NJEA. The
decision says more about Elissa Mizzone Testa and the Phil Murphy
administration than it does about me.
I stand by my posts and my free
speech rights. I am proud of what my
blog has accomplished and the enemies it has made.
I
have brought the highest ethical standards to the board. Testa's actions were a sad attempt to taint my name and
accomplishments.
My
blog has exposed many powerful people and their corruption. This was their way of getting revenge by interfering in a local election and stifling the free speech of a government watchdog.
The
School Ethics Commission and its director Kathryn Whalen are a bunch of
cowards. They never attempted to suspend me
while I was on the board because they know that it would have blown up on them
and made them look really bad. It would have exposed them for what they are- a political arm of the governor that turns a blind eye to criminal activities of board members throughout the state. Two national groups were ready to jump in to
take on the NJEA and defend my free speech if the Murphy administration tried to penalize me for "blog posts" while I was still in office. The School Ethics Commission did a complete
reversal from it prior decisions and went against me as I was leaving the
board. Its penalty for "blog posts" would not affect me yet it
would satisfy the Murphy administration and the NJEA.
If
I was a board member taking bribes or placing unqualified relatives in six
figure positions, the Murphy administration would be giving me awards. Because I fought corruption, it says I should be
penalized.
