Annual supplemental “Sick pay” for Councilwoman Licata’s son is valued at $433.15/day…

Link to the current labor agreement that covers Patrick Licata:

From page 19 of the labor agreement:

Doesn’t the bottom part of the page contradict the way Licata is being compensated?  Licata was hired well after 2007 yet his supplemental sick pay is far exceeding $15,000.

With a $78,836 base salary, I have a really hard time figuring how  7 work days can be cashed out for $3,032.04.  If Licata was paid for the maximum number of days, each day is valued at $433.15.

Most public employees outside of Lodi that I have been speaking to aren’t compensated for any sick days unless they put in enough years for retirement.  At retirement, they are capped at $15,000.

Nice animal story on nj.com…

Good thing the cow didn’t escape in Lodi.  The mother and calf wouldn’t have a chance with Lodi’s mayor and council.
