The tale of two Capizzis...

The Board’s trajectory for Marc Capizzi shows a $255,114 salary if he were to retire after 25 years.

It's time to cap Capizzi's salary.  That is what an objective Board would do (a Board that can vote on things without invoking Doctrine of Necessity).

Capizzi's salary increased $12,818 (8.24%) in less than four years.

Capizzi was hired on October 1, 2012 at $155,500.   (Joe Licata’s “No Brainer”)

Capizzi is now making $168,318.

In less than four years, his salary grew $12,818 or 8.24%.

The Board started him higher than other districts. The Board is guaranteeing him a job each year and at least a 2% annual raise.  As with all those that inherit political jobs in Lodi, performance doesn’t matter.
