How can 4 board members vote against this resolution?

Dominic Miller, Jonathan Carafa, Michael Nardino, and Phil Carbonetti voted against the above resolution.

Why would anyone do that?

This raises many red flags.

3/5 of the Lodi council was fine with your right to vote being blocked.

As your right to vote was being blocked, 3/5 of your council sat at the board meeting- silent on the issue.  How can your elected representatives not have a problem wasting $7.5M Lodi tax dollars?  How can they support having your right to vote stripped away?

Mayor Emil Carafa (employed by Lodi schools)


Councilwoman Patricia Licata (employed by Lodi schools)

Councilman Vincent Martin (wife employed by Lodi schools)
