Other BOEs Should be Aware of the Noncompetitive Contracts Matthew Giacobbe Arranges for His Former Law Partner (Post Date: April 2020)…
Overcharging and padding legal bills is not enough for
the “Giacobbe” firm. Matthew Giacobbe
also arranges for school districts to award NONCOMPETITIVE contracts to his
former law partner Yaacov Brisman to drive up district legal costs even more.
At the beginning of the school year, Matthew Giacobbe
expressed great urgency to hire his former law partner to investigate and
interview a Lodi teacher.
Giacobbe described Yaccov Brisman as an outside firm that would operate
independent of the Giacobbe firm. Matthew
Giacobbe never disclosed his past business relationship with Brisman. How
could Brisman be objective and work independent of Giacobbe when 1) Giacobbe arranged and advocated for Brisman’s contract, and 2) Brisman was a “founding partner” in the
Giacobbe firm?
When the high school teacher resigned, Giacobbe
shifted his plan. His new plan was to
have the board award a NONCOMPETITIVE contract to Brisman to go after this blog one week before the Election.
Once again, the “Giacobbe” attorneys expressed great urgency to award
the contract immediately and bypass any fair procurement process.
The “Giacobbe” attorneys recommended that board members
violate an OFAC corrective action plan that was listed on our district website
for procuring legal contracts. Matthew
Giacobbe wanted a NONCOMPETIVE public contract for his former law partner to interfere
in our Election because I was calling out problems with his contract and billing.
Matthew
Giacobbe never disclosed his conflicts of interest in his pursuit of attaining
a NONCOMPETIVE contract for a “founding member” of his firm.
When five board members voted down the contract for Brisman
and recommended hiring a real outside firm that had already gone through a
proper procurement process, the Giacobbe attorneys no longer found an outside
firm necessary. There no longer was any
urgency for an outside firm. They didn’t
want a competitor of theirs hired. They
didn’t want an objective firm. They didn’t
want an outside firm. They wanted a “founding
member” of Matthew Giacobbe’s firm who also happened to work with Matthew
Giacobbe and Joseph Ferriero at Scarinci Hollenbeck.
Matthew
Giacobbe’s actions with Yaacov Brisman’s contract was totally UNETHICAL.

Masks in School is Child Abuse. Finally, a New Jersey Superintendent Advocates for Children to Be Able to Breathe.

In the Lodi public schools, many students will be in classrooms this week with no air conditioning and 90 degree temperatures. Their faces will be covered in horrible masks to make the environment even more uncomfortable.
It's so sad that everyone's God given right to breathe freely is a not a concern of the Superintendent and board members.
They should set their self-serving interests aside for a few minutes and start advocating for students.

Other Boards of Education are in the News for Cancelling (or Not Cancelling) Columbus Day. In a Cowardly Fashion, the Lodi BOE Canceled Columbus Day Behind the Public's Back.
The Lodi Board of Education canceled Columbus Day from the 2021-2022 school calendar.
Nobody seems to recall hearing any conversation about cancelling Columbus Day at any public meeting.
An OPRA response shows no Columbus Day conversation among the Superintendent or board members via email.
No matter what anyone's opinion is on the matter, the public has the right to know whose idea it was to cancel Columbus day and how the board of education acted to carry out the idea.
The woke activists running Boards of Education will not stop with Columbus. They will continue cancelling everything and everyone. Education has been replaced with Indoctrination.

Fauci Admits that Roughly Half of NIH Employees Have Chosen Not to Receive the COVID Vaccines. Walensky Gives a Non Answer.
The heads of the NIH and CDC want to experiment on children as young as 12 yet a large percentage of their employees chose not to experiment on themselves. The real percentage of unvaccinated NIH employees is likely to be a lot larger than what Fauci admits to. It's also shocking that so many FDA employees refused the vaccines being the FDA authorized their emergency use.

The worst video from January 6th was of Ashli Babbitt (an unarmed women who served our country) being executed at point blank range. Instead of using sensational language about an "insurrection" and the civil war, Mike Kelly should be writing about why there is no justice or media coverage of an unarmed women being executed on video.
These newspaper reporters are so out of touch from living in their bubbles.
