Scott Luna letter: "I am also proud of my family's four generations of public service and volunteerism."

An emphasis on “rather than for any financial reward

If Lodi politicians have all of their relatives on Lodi’s public payroll (a large number in six figure positions),

If they create new titles for their relatives along with high starting salaries,

If their relatives are hired through a noncompetitive process (no job postings, interviews, etc.),

If their relatives are receiving payments from the wealthy developer of Lodi’s Main Street,

If the politicians are using borough property for their personal businesses,

If their relatives secretly sign over borough property to one another for $1,

Then wouldn’t these politicians be receiving a financial reward for their involvement with Lodi?

Wouldn’t it be a gross misrepresentation to praise oneself for “volunteering”?

If the “taking” far outpaces the “giving”, are these politicians giving to the community or taking from community?
