$283,000 + $109,709 (last 2 years) = at least $392,709. That is a lot more than Maywood's payout.
The Maywood Chief had a lot more years in the system and a lot more years as Chief.
The Lodi mayor and council are directly responsible for this financial burden placed upon the Lodi taxpayers. Each town negotiates its own contracts. Each town chooses whether or not to follow the State’s recommended best practices.
