The Lodi Board of Education is a PUBLIC entity run on PUBLIC money (tax
dollars).
Whether it’s a Secretary Position or Custodial
position, everyone deserves a fair shot and the best qualified should be
selected.
A $67 MILLION school budget should not be treated as a
slush fund for friends and family of Board members.
It’s one thing when public officials do the wrong
thing when nobody is watching. It’s
another thing when they do the wrong thing while someone is watching.
Applicants aren’t stupid. The public isn’t stupid.
Bob Marra and Joe Leto should be ashamed of
themselves. Both turned the personnel
committee into a sham committee.
