Remember this?
LEA contracts
have been full of “sweeteners” for Allyson. I now fully understand why Allyson would go
to extremes to hide all aspects of negotiations from the public and from a
Board member that can’t be bought.
Allyson went to Trenton last month (during a school
day) seeking some of the following:
- A public apology from me on this blog and at a
public meeting for my posts that have not been favorable to the union.
- That I reimburse the union for any lost membership
dues because of this blog.
- Barring me from any future negotiations.
What wasn’t brought up in Trenton? For the last
decade, Allyson has been using her LEA title and negotiations to receive
special stipends, special assignments, special work days, and even special decision
making privileges that should belong to the Board.
Quatrone had no problem relinquishing some of his
decision-making to the LEA President as long as she cheered for him at Board
meetings.
