Joe Leto’s shameless pandering to a special interest was a precursor for the
violations that would follow.
Joe Leto’s very first campaign post showed that his
first priority was not the students. It
was not the taxpayers. It was not
education. It was pandering to a union that found 2.6% annual pay raises
unacceptable.
On January 3, 2018, the Board of Education was sold out
to the LEA.
Corruption overtook negotiations.
Leto negotiated contracts for his own relatives. Leto negotiated contracts for a union whose officers endorsed him during the recent election. Both conflicts are disqualifying factors when it comes to negotiations. Both conflicts also provide a motive for Leto taking private action and compromising the Board.
Lodi will be appalled as more information is released.
