Something to know about teacher salary settlements statewide…

For contracts beginning in 2016-2017, the average statewide salary settlement is 2.55% for 2016-17 and 2.55% for 2017-18.

In 2016, the Lodi teacher union rejected a 2.6% increase for each year of the contract.

The LEA rejected a higher percentage than the average statewide salary settlement.

Nj.com recently named Lodi the 34th poorest town in New Jersey:

Nj.com ranked Lodi #7 for New Jersey towns where property taxes hurt the most.  Lodi is ranked #1 for Bergen County where property taxes hurt the most.
