What timing for Scorzetti's pay raise...

Scorzetti was chosen to negotiate the LEA contract on January 25^th.  Scorzetti’s salary at the time was $195,019.83.

Scorzetti voted to approve the LEA contract on March 28^th.  Scorzetti’s salary a the time  was $202,858.80.

While Scorzetti was negotiating the contract for Councilwoman Licata, the Mayor’s daughter, and a Councilman’s wife, the Mayor and Council (through Vincent Caruso) gave Scorzetti a $7,838.97 raise.

Scorzetti’s contracted salary for 2018 is $195,019.83.  The Superior Court hearing is scheduled for May 24^th. Before the case is heard and before the Judge issues a decision, the Mayor and Council already took official action on Scorzetti’s pay.
