Some obvious problems with the proposed warehouses that were discussed at tonight’s Planning Board meeting…

·       Many residents in the area did not receive notice of tonight’s hearing (required by law).

·       The applicant’s team didn’t even touch upon the environmental issues.

·       The applicant’s team claims they have no idea who the tenants will be.

·       The applicant’s civil engineer was all over the place when questioned about inadequate parking spaces and the area proposed for trailers.  Residential streets will likely end of as the parking area.

·       Trudy Drive and Red Stone Lane would be affected by the sewer flow.

·       Garibaldi Ave. would be negatively impacted by increased traffic.

·       The applicant’s attorney showed no respect for the residents of Lodi.  She came across as untrustworthy and combative.

·       The applicant’s traffic engineer spoke as though the people in the room were stupid.  His estimates made no sense.  He claimed that warehouses and offices really don’t require many employees anymore.

·       Nobody from the applicant’s team spoke about or showed an interest in how the project would affect the residential homes touching the property.
