Why is the Lodi BOE just sitting on YOUR tax relief?

You saw over a week ago that Lodi is receiving $2,563,508 more in State aid.

When other districts were provided the updated aid figures, Board members were notified immediately.  To date, neither Capizzi nor Quatrone have provided any correspondence regarding the additional aid.

This past week, other Boards of Ed have met and voted to provide tax relief to its residents.  The Lodi BOE met this past week.  The additional aid was not part of the agenda.  The BOE is meeting again on Wednesday.  The additional aid is not listed on the agenda.

What are they waiting for?  What are they plotting?

Lodi deserves tax relief more than anyone else.  Lodi received the following distinctions from nj.com:

#1 in New Jersey for Highest School Tax Burden by percentage of income going to school taxes.

#7 for New Jersey Towns where property taxes hurt the most.

#34 for Poorest Towns in New Jersey.

If Lodi doesn’t receive tax relief when it receives millions more in aid, it will never see tax relief.

This money belongs to the Lodi taxpayers.  It does not belong to the Capizzis.  It does not belong to Quatrone.   It does not belong to Board members.

Last year, Capizzi and Quatrone provided false information to Board members and to the public in their attempt to raise taxes and NOT provide any relief.

One year later, the public can see that I was truthful during that conversation and they were not.
