After asking why Mayor Carafa’s name and retirement payout
did not appear on the bills or the OPRA response, the page above was
released today.
The reason given why his name was not shown: “Upon further
review of the reports generated, it was discovered that an additional system
definition code was inadvertently excluded.”
How many other retirement payouts were not released to the
public from 2010 to 2018 due to definition codes being inadvertently excluded?
Side note: The payout for Mayor
Carafa further shows that all district employees are capped at $15,000 except
Frank Quatrone. Some Board members are
trying to pay Quatrone up to $200,000 for unused sick and vacation days.
