Capizzi and Quatrone recruited someone for the vacant
Board seat whose wife is a member of the PSPO bargaining unit. The PSPO labor agreement expired two days ago. A new contract is about to be negotiated.
The timing and optics of this are really bad.
It’s not OK for someone to be sitting on the Board
while a contract is being negotiated for their spouse, child, parent, sibling
or any other relative that can impair one’s judgment and objectivity.
Board members are supposed to be Quatrone’s boss. They cannot fulfill their proper role as a
Board member when Quatrone is hiring, promoting, and negotiating contracts for
their immediate family members.
