At tonight’s meeting, Leto, Cardone, Scorzetti,
Nardino, Marra, and Carbonetti voted to use “doctrine of necessity” so they can
use taxpayer money to defend themselves and Mr. Quatrone against this ethics
complaint:
All six members and Quatrone received their complaint over
a week ago. When did we receive the
Resolution below? At 1:30 today. I never had a chance to research it.
Only six members voted to
use “doctrine of necessity” (use your tax dollars on their attorney). All
six received a personal and financial gain from their vote. A very unethical response to their unethical
behavior.
The Lodi politicians
filed three ethics complaints against me.
I answered all on my own. I would
never take money away from the children and taxpayers for their nonsense.
The ethics complaints
against them aren’t typical ethics complaints. All six members had been warned prior to voting that they would be violating our ethics
code. They did so anyway. They do it over and over again. Ms. DiChiara encourages them.
This is what they could
have done:
1) The seven of them could have met by Nancy
Cardone’s house and answered the complaint on their own. Innocent people would have no problem doing
that.
2) They could have filed a claim with Alisa
DiChiara’s malpractice insurance since she gave bad advice.
3) They could have dug into their own pockets
for an attorney. The Lodi taxpayers pay
their salaries and/or the salaries of all their relatives. Some of their salaries are $200,000 a year.
Ms. DiChiara had two
obvious conflicts in advising the Board to vote on this Resolution tonight:
1) She would have been included in the ethics
complaint if it didn’t only cover Board members and administrators.
2) Many of her relatives work under Mr.
Quatrone. Therefore, she shouldn’t be
doing any work on matters pertaining to Quatrone.
