If Vinny Martin needs money for college tuition, how does he have money to purchase a liquor license?
The councilman clearly has a serious conflict being his new business partner will be going before the Lodi council for approval. Vinny Martin is 1/5 of the Lodi council. He can be used for his influence on the Lodi council and with the Lodi police department. Abstaining on a vote does not change that influence.

Vinny Martin may be appointing
the next Police Chief and promoting others. What if an officer doesn’t roll out
the red carpet for the councilman’s new business partner? I guess that officer won’t be promoted.

This is bad all the way
around. There is something wrong with the
councilman’s judgement for him to be so nonchalant with his quotes to the paper.
Vinny Martin isn’t new to this
game.
I think it’s time for Vinny
Martin to disclose where all of his campaign cash came from. He has done a good job of concealing his
contributors’ names and the names that contributed to “Children First”
campaigns.
