The “union” is not paying its fair share to the district…





At last night’s BOE meeting, I asked: how much has the LEA (teacher union) paid the district in 2017 for the use of district equipment and supplies.  Nobody was aware of any payments by the union.

It is obvious to all that the teacher union has used our schools (equipment, supplies, stationary, etc.) for union activities.  This was especially obvious with the Washington School union hall when Mayor Carafa was principal.


It is not the Lodi taxpayers’ responsibility to subsidize union activities in our schools.  The union already receives enough tax dollars.  They have millions to spend on political campaigns.  They can pay for their own photocopies and stationary.  They can use their local union office for union activities.
