I was emailed this question: can someone collect two public pensions (different pension funds)? The questioner
did not believe this was allowed in New Jersey.

A Lodi councilperson earns $6,000 a year. An annual pension of $1,491 is
actually really good considering what is was based. Most people are unaware that anyone would
collect a pension for the rest of their life for sitting on the Lodi council
