It’s no coincidence that the highest stipend is the “Marching
Band Director”.
There appears to be a pattern of special privileges
and rewards for the LEA leaders that negotiate teacher contracts.
There is a history of using negotiations for self-enrichment,
i.e. increased stipends, promotions, jobs for relatives, salary guides
benefiting those negotiating, etc.
LEA leaders fight really hard to maintain the status
quo so they can continue their business as usual.
