Board members are supposed to interview law firms…

From a northjersey.com article about Belleville:

“The school board interviewed five firms before deciding on the choice of Busch Law Group LLC, Sheldon told NorthJersey.com.”

From a patch story about Toms River:

“Though an initial agenda set aside two hours of an executive session intended for board members to interview eight prospective attorneys,…”

In the past, the appointment of a Board Attorney would appear as an item on the Superintendent’s report.  That means Frank Quatrone selected the firm and the Board members rubber-stamped.  That is not the role of the Superintendent.

Most Lodi Board members have no knowledge of their responsibilities.

Lodi taxes are so out of control and so many violations are occurring while everyone seems to be learning as they go.
