A few points about Quatrone, DiChiara, and Scorzetti
being ridiculous…
Quatrone: “DeGondea's résumé was one of several that had been on
file from previous job openings, said Quatrone, who recommended her for the
position.”
Question: How come no other members of the public had
their resumes on file?
Quatrone: "The recommendation comes from who I
feel is most qualified," Quatrone said at the board's Jan. 24 meeting.
"I made five appointments tonight and I couldn't tell you who they're
dating either."
Question: Is Frank Quatrone claiming he was unaware
that Renee DeGondea is Donald Scorzetti’s longtime girlfriend? If so, he will be proven a liar. Furthermore the two are all over social media
and have been for years.
Quatrone: Per the
secretaries' contract, an opening only needs to be posted within the
district, Quatrone said. Had he thought the candidates available from the
previously submitted résumés were not qualified, he would have posted the
job listing elsewhere, he said.
Comment: Quatrone presented maybe six resumes. One was Scorzetti’s girlfriend. I recognized the others as current or former teacher aides. Why was Ms. DeGondea the only
outsider with a resume on file for an internal posting?
Nunno-DiChiara:
"It's unethical to ask an applicant who they're dating and sexual
preference," she said. "I don't see how that would come up."
Comment: DiChiara is just being ridiculous again. She gives bad advice and then deflects the
conversation to something not relevant.
Scorzetti:
Scorzetti, who is the borough's deputy police chief, argued that Telep does
have a conflict of interest because his mother-in-law is the secretary for
Quatrone's brother, Lodi Police Chief Vincent Quatrone.
Question: Has Scorzetti ever read any SEC advisory
opinions or our code of ethics?
Scorzetti’s alleged conflict is such a stretch. Scorzetti is grasping badly. Telep can negotiate.
Quatrone:
He added, "In June I asked for the opportunity to negotiate in front of
the entire board, which I think was a reasonable request. Let’s move forward.”
Comment: Quatrone was NOT allowed to negotiate with
members whose relatives all work under him in six figure positions. This was clearly explained to Quatrone at
the time. Quatrone ignored advisory
opinions and tried to rewrite the rules for himself.
