Lodi voters did not give the “machine” a mandate to continue its bad behavior…

In the last election, 2,189 votes were cast for the one year seat.  Bob Marra received 809 votes, only 50 votes more than the next candidate.

Bob Marra had the full “machine” backing.  He had the endorsement of the LEA.  He had the teacher union making phone calls on his behalf.  “Family and Friends” pushed him 24-7 on social media.  He is a long time Lodi Housing Authority Commissioner.

Bob Marra was on the Board for a long, long 12 years.  People know who he is.

Bob Marra received 37% of the votes cast for the one year seat.  63% of the votes cast were against Bob Marra.

Relying on a perennial candidate (that he meets with everyday at McDonalds) to spoil an election did not give Bob Marra or the "machine" a mandate to continue their bad behavior on the Board.
