From the July 6th meeting at 22 minutes (Sciarrillo bills discussion):
Sciarrillo: Let
me tell you something Mr. Curioni. I don’t
know what you think I do for a living but I don’t sit home and dial the Lodi
Board of Education looking for work.
Me: No, he dials you… giving you work.
Sciarrillo: No,
actually you do things that cause work.
Negotiations causes work.
Sidenote:
1. I shouldn’t
cause work because public funds can’t be used to file ethics complaints against
board members.
2. Sciarrillo
clearly views negotiations as a cash cow.
Everyone should have been working all summer to settle the teachers’
contract so people can’t take advantage of the situation.
