Link to one of the May Memorandums (emailed to Quatrone from Sciarrillo) addressing the question: Can two Board members who serve as Lodi police officers participate in employment decisions with respect to the superintendent when the Lodi police chief is the superintendent’s brother?
In May 2017, only one Lodi police officer (Dominic Miller) was a member of the Board and working under the chief who was the superintendent’s brother.
In January 2018, two Lodi police officers (Miller and
Scorzetti) were supposed to be Board members and working under the chief who
was the superintendent’s brother.
Like the other May Memorandum, this too was likely
from January 2018 and not May 2017.
A lot of legal bills were paid for Sciarrillo during
the spring and summer of 2017. Some Board
members never saw the work. The work was
supposedly done by Sciarrillo for Quatrone.
No emails between Sciarrillo and Quatrone for 2017 have been
turned over to Board members.
Only a couple emails from January 2018 have been turned over. Memos labeled “May” were sent in January 2018
and likely were for January 2018.
This is a big deal.
Link to a January 28, 2018 post about another
controversial “May Memorandum”:
The Lodi BOE was way over budget last school year with
legal fees. The Lodi taxpayers have the
right to know what type of work was being done and who it was being done for.
