"N.J. ELEC hits disgraced former Hoboken mayor with $95K in fines"

From the article:

“The fines, totaling $95,330, come more than nine years after Cammarano was arrested as part of Operation Big Rig, a sweeping federal corruption sting that netted 46 high-profile arrests of public officials across the state.

The decision, passed down on Nov. 13, said that the "Respondents' Joint Candidate Committee... failed to timely report over $1,000,000.00 in runoff election transactions" during his 2009 bid for the mayoralty, and that some transactions were still unreported "as of the date of the Court's opinion."”

Big campaign spending yields corruption.  The Lodi politicians have shown us that over the years with all of their pay-to-play abuses.

It’s sad that it took ELEC nine years to take action.
