Instead of pandering to a special interest group, defeated candidates should have answered to the actual voters...





Lodi elections are about more than an LEA questionnaire. 


Voters wanted independent thinkers- people that can show up to a candidates’ forum or anywhere else and speak for themselves.  They wanted to read about real issues (something with substance) on Facebook pages and on campaign literature.


Voters wanted to clean up corruption.  They wanted higher education standards and enhanced opportunities.  They wanted to cut waste and deliver tax relief.


The successful team of prior INDEPENDENT candidates had a message that resonated with voters.  The other candidates did not have a message.  Issues mattered this year.
