A Garfield Councilman summed things up well. From the article:
"I'm
concerned for the fiscal survival of this district," Calandriello
said. "Where do we go from here? We're a poor community that receives $58
million in state aid but our taxes still escalate."
And
"There
are 38 administrations spots that salaries total just under $7 million, to me
that's excessive," Calandriello said.
