Just months ago, you saw Cardone, Leto and Scorzetti
posting over and over again that they were NOT for raising taxes. You heard them say over and over again that there
wasn’t a need to raise taxes because there was $7.5M in the budget for the
administration building that wasn’t moving forward.
Right after joining the Board, Cardone, Leto, and
Scorzetti voted to raise your taxes while giving Quatrone a 20% pay raise.
Cardone, Leto, and Scorzetti voted for a 2.08% tax
increase after being notified that Lodi was receiving $2.1M more in State
Aid.
There was plenty to work with in the budget. There was no need for a tax increase.
Elected officials should be held accountable for their
dishonesty and broken promises.
