Palisades Park sounds like Lodi...

Link to article that appeared yesterday on northjersey.com:

From the article:

Two  trustees, John Mattesich and Ken Bruno, work for the borough and abstained from the vote. Board President Jeffrey Woo and trustee Jason Kim voted no because of potential ethics implications. Woo said he spoke to a representative from the New Jersey School Boards Association about it, and cited a recent ruling where a school board was penalized for hiring a council member.

Link to a previous article on the subject:

Henry Ruh is a councilman in Palisades Park.  He tried to use his council seat to create a new "coordinator" position for himself in the Palisades Park schools.  On top of that, one of the officers hired to work in the schools is Ruh’s younger brother.

Towns known for corruption and nepotism fit the following pattern:

Council members are employed by the BOE.  BOE members are employed by the town.

There are many parallels between Lodi and Palisades Park.  None of them good.
