Defending the indefensible. Where have you seen this before?

Joe Leto should have learned from Joe Licata.  Defending the indefensible doesn’t go very far.  Quatrone used Licata to defend the $7.5M administration building.  Nobody bought it.  Quatrone is using Leto to defend his illegal contract.  Nobody is buying it.  There is no public support for either.

A town with a median household income of $50,000 is not sympathetic to a public employee making over $200,000 a year and gaming the system every chance he gets.  Lodi does not approve of 20% salary increases.  Lodi does not approve of paying someone over $177,000 for unused sick days when everyone else is capped at $15,000.  Lodi does not approve of Quatrone handpicking who renegotiates his contract and when.

Lodi does not approve of Leto raising taxes over 2% while Lodi was receiving $2.1M more in State aid.  Lodi does not approve of taxes being raised the same night Quatrone's salary increased 20%.

If Leto is proud of what he did with Quatrone’s contract, why didn’t he run on it?  I warned Lodi that Leto was running for Quatrone’s contract.  I warned Lodi that Leto would raise taxes.  Leto denied it during the campaign.  I told the truth.  Leto lied.  The voters were deceived.

Leto would have given Quatrone even more if he could have.  He had every intention of giving Quatrone “merit bonuses” on top of the 20% pay raise and illegal sick day deal.  However, Quatrone already submitted merit goals under his contract that automatically renewed on July 1, 2017.  When his contract was renegotiated in the middle of the school year without a public hearing, it was too late for Quatrone to submit a set of merit goals.  It would have tipped off the County that his contract was renegotiated without a public hearing while Alisa DiChiara was telling OFAC it wasn’t.

Frank Quatrone knows just how to use young, gullible, uninformed people to get what he wants.  Quatrone allowed Leto to fill the vacant Board seat.  Quatrone allowed Leto to fill the last custodian position.  Both actions were inappropriate and unethical.  In return, Leto violated everything possible to get Quatrone as much as he could, even beyond legal limits.

I warned Lodi about Leto during the campaign.  The sick days I used at the time were the ones listed by Quatrone last year (his proposed payout fluctuates every year, at odds with 2007 legislation).  The pay raise listed included the merit bonus Leto wanted to give to Quatrone if he could have.  Link to a few campaign posts:
