A More Ethical Board: The Lodi BOE Hasn’t Had to Use “Doctrine of Necessity” once in 2019…

“Doctrine of Necessity” is legalized corruption.

In 2018, the Lodi BOE was using “Doctrine of Necessity” more than any other district in the state.

In 2019, the Lodi BOE has not had to use “Doctrine of Necessity” once.

In 2014, when Nancy Cardone joined the Lodi BOE, almost the entire board had IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS (spouses, children, parents, siblings) employed in the Lodi schools.

In 2019, Nancy Cardone is the only remaining board member with immediate family members employed in our schools.

The Lodi BOE is making great strides.  Unfortunately, people like Nancy Cardone are trying to drag us back to the days of rampant corruption.

Every time a political hack gets replaced by a reformer, the community benefits greatly.  The Lodi BOE can achieve so much more without Nancy Cardone.
