The NJEA is starting more trouble in the southern part of the state…

The NJEA is not the employer. 


If employers are tasked with automatic payroll deductions from its employees for something unrelated to public employment, shouldn’t the employers give the employees an opportunity to consent to those deductions?  Why does the NJEA fear membership re-authorization?


Why is the employer even responsible for payroll deductions in the first place?  Union members should pay their union bosses directly. Public entities should not be serving as collection agencies for the NJEA.
