Lodi Politics Chief. Contract to be approved by the Mayor and Council on Tuesday.

Scorzetti’s new contract is on the mayor and council's agenda for this Tuesday. Link to agenda:

The contract’s period begins with March 1, 2018 yet retro pay isn’t necessary.  Scorzetti received his pay raise months before this administration went to Superior court seeking permission to negotiate with all their conflicts.  Negotiations took place before “doctrine of necessity” was invoked or granted by a judge.  The court appearance was strictly ceremonial.  The contract was already done.

Some dates to consider:

Joe Leto (really Quatrone and Capizzi) named Scorzetti on January 25, 2018 to negotiate the LEA contract.  The contract was approved on March 28, 2018.  Councilwoman Licata is a member of the LEA bargaining unit.  So is Mayor Carafa’s daughter and Councilman DiChiara’s wife.

Joe Leto (really Quatrone and Capizzi) named Scorzetti on February 27th to negotiate Marc Capizzi’s contract.  Capizzi’s contract was approved April 25, 2018.  Marc Capizzi's father puts all the “Children First” BOE tickets together as well as all “United” municipal tickets.

Scorzetti’s contract was negotiated during this same time period that he was negotiating both contracts.  Scorzetti received his pay raise during this time period, months before the administration went to court and months before the council voted on the contract.

Lodi residents have seen Donald Scorzetti’s votes and actions at our Board meetings.  Lodi knows that he only became chief because of Board politics, conflicts of interest, and backroom deals.  Lodi taxpayers will pay a high price, as always.

The contract will be posted when made available.
