Have you noticed that legislators only address abuse
and waste of tax dollars after news outlets report a story? Why isn’t the State providing any oversight before
the scandals are brought to light by the media?
The Christie administration only acted on the Passaic Valley
Sewerage Commission years ago after nj.com did many investigative stories about the waste and abuse. Everyone was aware
of what was going on at the time. Legislators
were mum until it became a big news story.
The state legislators and all government agencies need
to be more proactive. They need to do
their jobs.
