Former Board member Nancy Cardone set Lodi up for the $7.5M administration building…

On June 25, 2014, then Board member Nancy Cardone voted to transfer $5M from the general fund balance into capital reserves.  By doing this, she paved the way to move forward with the $7.5 administration without a referendum vote.

     

                          

Here are some questions that former board member Nancy Cardone really should answer before November 7^th:

·       How can a responsible budget have $5M left over at the end of a school year? 

  

·       Why was the tax levy increased 2% for that budget when there should have been a decrease that year?

·       Why wasn’t some of the $5M put towards tax relief for 2014-15?

·       How far in advance were you told of the plans for the $7.5 administration building?

·       Did this look normal to you?
