In October, Matthew Giacobbe told me that he was
handling the Frank Quatrone matter and asked me to email him contracts.
You can see from the bill linked above that Matthew
Giacobbe is not handling the matter.
Mark Wenczel is handling the matter. What a surprise.
Lodi taxpayers are paying more than they ever did for
legal services and are receiving an inferior product.
This is just another lie from the politician run law
firm. This fits a pattern of deceit that
began before the firm began working for Lodi.
Mark Wenczel was one of three or four attorneys from the firm that gave
a presentation to the board seeking a contract.
Being they brought the whole circus to town for the presentation, I
directly and specifically asked them what attorney would be assigned to
Lodi. Mark Wenczel and other attorneys
said Matthew Giacobbe would be assigned to Lodi and provide the legal
services. This firm lied before it was
hired, when it was hired, and each month thereafter.
How much can Mark Wenzcel possibly bill to research
general information? Why are Lodi taxpayers paying for him to learn on the job?
