Middle School parents are outraged that a girls’
bathroom is still not available two months into the school year. There is inadequate access for female
students (ratio of toilets to female students).
The bathroom should have been completed over the summer. Instead, work is being done during school
hours, raising safety concerns.
As I hear parents speak of this project, I think of
all the BOE minutes.
There are
constant change orders for almost all school projects, running up all initial prices. Projects are not completed on time.
How
can you trust Capizzi’s board with a $7.5 million project when they had so many
issues with a Wilson School prison fence
and a Middle School bathroom?
