Nellie Pou has always pandered to the NJEA and has always
voted how they tell her to vote. Even so,
Nellie Pou has now become a target of teacher union bullying.

In an interview on Tuesday, Pou expressed frustration at being singled
out by the Paterson union. Pou said she would vote for the bills being
backed by the association. But she said she was not willing to co-sponsor the
legislation and accused McEntee of being disrespectful in his efforts to
convince her to do so.
“I’m not going to do something just because he wants to bully me into
doing it,” Pou said when asked why she wouldn’t co-sponsor bills she said she
supports. “His bullying tactics are something I do not appreciate.”
