Marc Schrieks never earned votes. He bought votes.

Over the past few days, Lodi residents have been commenting on how Marc Schrieks and his running mates were the only NO SHOWS at the candidate forum.  They comment on how Marc Schrieks refuses to answer to the voters.  They recognize Marc’s arrogance and hubris.

I explain to people that Marc Schrieks never answered to the Lodi voters.  He bought elections.  Other people’s money was always used to compensate for his failed record.

Here’s just one example: take a look at Marc’s 2007 campaign.  His report shows that his campaign took in $173,737.45 and spent $142,504.09.

Link to Marc Schriek’s campaign report from 2007:

Where did all of Marc’s money come from?

Pay-to-play abusers (those buying public contracts)

Developers doing business with Lodi

Recipients of patronage jobs in the borough hall and board of education

People funneling money on behalf of others that are receiving contracts or jobs from Lodi

Marc Schrieks did not show up to the candidates’ forum because he would have to defend his positions:

His support for Frank Quatrone’s 20% raise

His support for nepotism

His support for pay-to-play abuses

His support for corruption at every level of government

Lodi is made up of hardworking people that earn things in life.  They should reject candidates that don’t earn votes by not answering to the residents of Lodi.
