Another Outrageous “Giacobbe” Bill on the January 22nd Agenda…

Link to “Giacobbe” bills on this month’s agenda via OPRA:

As you can see, Marc Wenczel is billing the most even though the board was told Matthew Giacobbe would be performing the legal work for the district.

As you can scroll down, Mark Wenczel billed excessively for research on complete nonsense like “lame duck appointments” and LEAP appointments (Licata after school program).  A school attorney should not be billing  for research on those types of items.  Furthermore, I was still board president at the time of those bills and was not making any appointments nor did I ever reach out to him on any of those matters.

Mark Wenczel has been indecisive on the most basic general questions.

Shame on board members for allowing this firm to lie about its contract, its attorney assignment and everything else.  Shame on board members for allowing this political firm to rip off the Lodi taxpayers.  This firm should have been removed in September as soon as its first bills were submitted before the board ever negotiated a contract or voted on a contract.  Unfortunately, I was fighting alone on these abuses.

The way this firm has behaved, don’t be surprised if Frank Quatrone walks away with his illegal sick day payout.  The Giacobbe firm has taken complete advantage of the Lodi taxpayers.  Why would it have a problem with others doing the same?
