By August 21, 2012, Charles Cuccia and Tony Luna’s daughter
were already being paid by Lodi. The
discussion in the minutes was about them and the fact their hiring was hidden from the public.
There were no resolutions at the time.
The mayor and council never voted to appoint either of them. The minutes above show that the Lodi Mayor
and Council voted to appoint Tony Luna as the “Acting Borough Treasurer” to
create a smokescreen, covering up that Tony Luna hired is daughter without any
procurement process and that Tony Luna’s daughter was NOT qualified at the
time.
Marc Schrieks stated month after month that Tony Luna
does the hiring and that they did not need to post their hirings on meeting
minutes or resolutions.
Alan Spiniello, Frank DiMaria, and Marc Schrieks are
all aware that the arrangement came from Tony Luna and NOT the mayor and council
at the time. They lied anyway while
under oath.
The Lodi Mayor and Council did not vote on any Resolutions to hire Cuccia and Luna until years later.
