You Probably Wouldn’t Know that the Lodi Board of Education Voted Last Night to Pay Frank Quatrone $166,767.69 for Sick Days…

You can see from the title that this was a settlement from board members with conflicts of interest and not an order from a judge.  This shows a complete contradiction from Matthew Giacobbe.

Just so the public is aware, Matthew Giacobbe told me as recently as October that the figure Frank Quatrone was seeking didn’t sound right, the district should not pay Frank Quatrone, and the board should force Quatrone to go before a judge to prove he is owed what he was asking for by producing an agreement that he was unable to produce.  Instead of securing information from the board office (because Lodi had two interims, Robert Brown and Katherine Fedina, getting fat paychecks to do nothing), Matthew Giacobbe was asking me to email him all of Quatrone’s contracts and other relevant documents.  Closed session meeting recordings and emails would verify what I am stating.

Robert Brown (the interim business administrator at the time who was hand-picked by Quatrone) told me immediately after the June 26, 2019 meeting that I was right about issues I raised about the proposed illegal payout and that his office would not be paying Frank Quatrone the sick day payout.

More than one year later, Frank Quatrone is receiving the illegal payout.  It was done very quietly and an OPRA request will be required to see the actual details.

The payout violates so many state statutes which I have provided over the years:

This is sickening to see but nothing surprises me anymore.  The Murphy Administration covers up Lodi corruption.  It celebrates and encourages public corruption at all levels.  In New Jersey, laws are made to be broken.

When people elect thieves, they are going to be robbed.  And they were.  And there was nobody left fighting for the taxpayers and students of Lodi.  There was nobody even bringing this serious matter to the attention of the public as it was popping up on an August special meeting addendum.

Lodi taxpayers will suffer.  Lodi students will suffer.

I hope this dirty money brings all involved lots of happiness.
