All elected officials should support strong public schools.

However, they should not legislate to take opportunities away from low income children when their privileged children have access to those opportunities.

The teacher unions have created a whole class of hypocritical politicians.  Politicians are bought off by the teacher unions and then advocate for things that they know are wrong. 

All children should have the same education opportunities despite their zip code or family income.
