Neptune NJ Zoning Officer unfairly targeted a charter school and church...

“The permit was denied after the zoning officer determined the "present and approved use of the property was for a 'place of worship'" with an "accessory use of a nonconforming elementary and secondary school." 

The zoning officer determined by converting the "accessory private school" into a principal use as a public school it would create two principal uses on the property —located at 3455 West Bangs Avenue — and would not comply with the township's zoning ordinances.” 



It was a school and would continue being a school.  The reason for denial is absurd.
                            

The zoning officer should be investigated and held accountable for unfairly targeting a charter school and a church.  The zoning board was doing the dirty work for a teacher union.
