Part-time Alan Spiniello set to collect over $210,000 this year with two NO BID contracts.

Alan Spiniello landed two NO BID contracts from the Lodi mayor and council on July 1St.

His NO BID contract for “Borough Attorney” is $160,000.

His NO BID contract for “Special Tax Counsel” is $50,000.

Alan Spiniello always submits large bills each year besides this.  He claims they are for printing costs.

Alan Spiniello is not worth this type of money.  Lodi has to pay NO BID Florio each year for all labor issues (and I am sure Luna’s blatant disregard of the law will only bring about more lawsuits this term).  Lodi has to pay other outside firms for appellate work because Spiniello says “attorneys are like doctors, and they each have different specialties”.  Without explaining why, Spiniello says he cannot do anything with police or PBA matters.

Lodi should not be paying hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to part-time political attorneys.

Alan Spiniello always makes large campaign contributions in return for his NO BID contracts.  Over the last four years, I made an issue of his contributions in exchange for  hundreds of thousands of borough tax dollars.

Alan Spiniello’s name hasn’t appeared yet on "United"’s election filings this year.  So the question is: how much money did Spiniello, his family members, or close friends funnel to the "United" campaign in $300 increments or less?  If someone contributes $300 or less, "United" can hide their identities on their election reports.

Here is a link to all the resolutions and ordinances voted on July 1st.  It contains both of Alan Spiniello’s resolutions:
