During the May election, the Lodi politicians proclaimed their big achievement was eliminating their Deputy Chief of Police position.
Then they appointed a new Deputy Chief.
Then they got
him a top of the line 2016 Chevy Tahoe that he can take home and have for personal
use.
Why would they choose one of the most expensive
vehicles? Why would they choose one of the
least fuel efficient vehicles? Because
the Lodi taxpayers are paying.
Lodi is one of the poorest towns in Bergen
County. Lodi has one of the highest tax
rates in Bergen County.
This lease purchase is unacceptable.
